Ann's Story
Life
After Hen Hud, I graduated Ithaca College in December 2001 with a BS in Film and Photography, concentrated in Cinema Production and minors in Art History and Writing. Careerwise, I did a 180 and ended up working at an accounting firm. That led to on-the-job training as an accountant (primarily concentrating in tax) and drew me to earning the IRS' Enrolled Agent (EA) designation in 2006, after passing a two-day, 4-part IRS-administered exam in 2005. c. Since then, we've welcomed Joseph (2000) and Matthew (2004) into our lives and hearts. I became a stay-at-home mom when Joseph was born, but am now running a successful and growing accounting business from a home office. Juggling the business and the boys can be challenging (especially during tax season), but we prefer it to full-time daycare. We've lived in Dutchess since 1993 and in Poughquag specifically since 1995. I hope everybody is doing well and enjoying their own health and success!
