Ann's Story
Joined the Army just after graduation to play in the band. A lot of fun but knew I wanted more out of life - like college. Prior to getting out I got married to an Army trumpet player - 4 years and many moves later I had a pre-med degree and a divorce. I went to med school back in the Army in D.C. Navy. Spent two years as a flight surgeon generalist before I transferred into the Navy and then completed a path residency. In 1994 the Navy moved us to beautiful San Diego. In 2003 I retired from the Navy, Occasionally I still play or sing with music groups, I try and keep all the extra pounds off but most of all I love to knit and wait for more grandchildren to be born.
