Ann's Story
Life
I am currently living in the snowy north-in a suburb of Buffalo, New York. My work with Nabisco took me here 15 years ago. As a Senior Director of Manufacturing, I oversaw multiple plants across the Northeast and was in charge of much of Nabisco's Operations strategy and all of its safety and Worker's Compensation strategy.
Very shortly after arriving in the Buffalo area, I met and ultimately, married Charlie Badding, a Buffalo native. We married in 1996 and I adopted his two boys, Duncan who is now 24 and Malcolm who is 21. Both are presently in college. I had no children in my first marriage.
I am battling a very rare and painful urinary/kidney disease and a progressive ...Expand for more
nuero-muscular disease which forced me to retire on disability several years ago. This has been rather difficult for me, because my mind wants to remain productive and active, while my body resists!
I remain active as a volunteer on several not-for-profit Boards in the area. I try to play golf as much as the weather and my kidneys will allow. I also thoroughly enjoy cable news, reading, and have begun to learn how to crochet! I also tutor young people in middle and high school math. And, I travel to LaGrange a few times each year to visit with old friends. I stay connected through a couple of board memberships there. I miss LaGrange and the South and cherish each and every visit.
