Life
I would love to hear from any of my old school friends, be it from Ballard High in Seattle, WA. or White Oak High in Maysville, NC. You can find me on facebook under my maiden/married name. ~ ~ Having reached our 80s, my spouse and I decided it was time for one last adventure. We packed up our luggage and pup and flew from California to Georgia for a long-planned visit with hubby's last surviving sibling. It took 5 days to get there but met a lot of great people along the way. Spent 3 days visiting and then headed for home. shal, some local DOT personal and helpful people bringing us fuel from the airport we were able to make it to Paige, find lodging and wait out the weather for a couple of days before continuing on our journey home. When we got home, I got on the internet to thank those who assisted us during our emergency. Found out that we had made the local newspaper that week, complete with picture. We've been married 65 years this year and I can truly say it has not been boring in the least. We have never been shy about trying new things. We are sticking close to home now days, but still enjoy our kids (all grown up 58 & 60 years old now) and getting together on Friday evenings for some karaoke with our friends.
