Anna's Story
Life
I am in my twenty-fourth year of teaching. I am in my second year of teaching middle school and teach math and social studies. I live in a small town (much like Byron) in the thumb of Michigan. My father is living in Durand, Michigan, and my mother passed away in April 2001 after a long illness. All of my brothers and sisters are still alive and well and living in Michigan, except for brother Bobby--he's in Kansas. My son, Josh (who is now 33......Expand for more
) lives on the west side of Michigan with his wife Shannon. They were married in August 2006 in Hawaii.
I am continuing to work on a second Masters Degree (this time in Administration) or possibly my Educational Specialist Degree in Administration. Going back to school after 12 years has been a little different but I suppose I am up for the challenge. I will have my degree by August 2009 and then will hopefully secure an elementary principal position.
