Annamieka's Story
Life
My family moved to Texas from Utah during Christmas break of Senior year. It was definately not the ideal way to end High School, but looking back on things, I'm glad we did it. Shortly after moving out of my mother's home and on my own, I was blessed to meet the man who would soon become my husband. Chris and I were married a year later in the Dallas, Texas Temple (Oct 1997). In August of 1998, we were blessed with the birth of our first son, Ethan, followed by our second, Isaac in Nov. of 1999. May of 2003. We just welcomed our second daughter, Rebekah in Jan of 2005. (All were birthed by midwives and unmedicated. Isaac, Aubrey, Matthew, and Rebekah were born at home.) So, yes, we have five children. It's kind of crazy having so many kids so close together. I know friends from high school who haven't even gotten married, but I wouldn't change a thing. Our children have been an incredible blessing for us. We now live in a little city called Watauga, just northeast of Fort Worth. I am a full time mom and couldn't be happier.
