Anne's Story
Life
Since I have completed college I have had 6 part time jobs ranging from numerous YMCA's to 3 professional baseball teams. I currently work full time for the Girl Scouts, Horents' Council as a Membership Specialist for York County. I got married in February 2004 during the biggest snow storm of the century to the most wonderful man, named Ryan Kelley.
School
In 8th grade I started at McClintock Middle School. I stayed there thru the 9th grade, as my first year in High School. In 10th grade I went to East Mecklenburg High School. In 11th & 12th grade I went to Myers Park High School. Also in 12th grade I earned college credit taking some classes at Central Piedmont Community College. After graduation from high school I attended Western Carolina University for 4 years. I completed two internships as well, at Peace College in Raleigh, NC and at Montreat College in Asheville, NC.
College
In college I was an athletic trainer for 3 1/2 years in football, basketball, baseball, and track. I also helped out in...Expand for more
the Sport Marketing Department. I completed one semester in Raleigh, NC at Peace College as an Athletic Training Intern. After graduation I completed another internship at Montreat College in Asheville, NC as an Asst. Athletic Trainier.
Workplace
Since graduation I have had numberous jobs. I have worked at 7 differnt YMCA sites in 4 different cities. I have been a lifeguard, camp counselor, Asst. Site Director, a swim instructor/coordinator, and a Water Aerobics Sub. I have also worked for three professional baseball teams. I worked part time during the games with the Asheville Tourists as a Concession Stand Manager/Gopher. I then worked with the Greenville Braves part time everyday as the Asst. Ticket Manager/Office Manager. And most recently I worked Full Time with the Charlotte Knights as the Office Manager/Birthday Party Planner/Kids Club Coordinator/Merchandise Manager/Community Relations Coordinator. I know work Full Time for the Girl Scout, Hornets' Nest Council as the Membership Specialist for York County.
