I tried college for a few years, then my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and I didn't deal with it very well, so I dropped out of college. At the time, I though it would just be a semester or two break, but I've been on college hiatus ever since. I went to work in the family business, selling clay and all things related to pottery supplies. After I got past the major grief issues of Dad's death in 1993 (thank you, therapy!), I realized that I was really happy working at Bracker's. I've helped the business grow and expand, including building a brand new, 15,000 sq ft facility, and taken on a lot of responsibilities such as graphic design, advertising, accounting, pottery-related technical support, web site, and so on.
