Life
Greetings...
I am currently a business instructor at Reedley College - in Reedley California - where I have been full-time since 2001. Reedley is known as the "Fruit Basket of the World" because of the miles and miles of stone fruit orchards (you know - peaches, plums etc). It is 35 miles south east of Fresno and its home to Reedley Beach!!! OK - so it's not like going to the beach in Morro Bay - but there is something that "looks" like sand there.... Growing up in Morro Bay, I swore I would "never" live in the "valley" - all I can say is - never say never!!!
In 1994 I finished a BS in Business Administration at Cal Poly (SLO) - the same year my son graduated from Morro Bay High School (my dad and I did that same double graduation in 1972), then in 1999 I graduated from Regis ...Expand for more
University (Denver, CO) with an MBA and that same year my son graduated from Cal Poly (SLO). Finally, in 2004 I completed my doctorate at Argosy University (Orange County) - yes, I am a "Doctor" (at least that is what my license plate says) and for the first time - the graduation party was for only one graduate. In case you are wondering - I earned my doctorate in Business Administration and Management.
My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in January by having a great party at the Sea Venture in Pismo - we rented the entire restaurant and we (about 85 family and friends) partied into the night. We have three great kids and two fabulous grandkids - yes I am a grandma and I LOVE IT!!! Two wonderfully whacky Standard Poodles (Sofie and Zack) round out our family....
