Anne's Story

Life I am now retired after teaching Spanish for 30 years at the same high school. My husband of 30 years is Clayton Dean Brannon a wonderful man from Fort Oglethorpe Ga., who is also retired. My son Geoffrey, from a previous marriage died at the age of 41 from a malignant brain tumor. He was living and working in Fl. My daughter-in-law is fantastic and made my son very happy. We keep in touch a lot. My husband and I enjoy traveling, watching ice skating and sports. We have seen the US Figure Skating Championships three times. nteresting places in the U.S. My favorite is Alaska. We also enjoy attending concerts and have seen some blasts from the past, as well as the present. One of our goals was to see and hear some of our favorite famous people. Most of our time is spent at our home with its 42 acres. Recently we have remodeled our bathroom, and carpeted our house. That has made me so happy. I still like having a good time, laughing, and being around funny people, Since our retirement, my husband and I have been able to spend time together which has made these the happiest years. I miss my great friends from SAHS.
