Workplace
I'm currently a Sr. Technical Writer - in other words, I write user guides. I work at ESI (Electro Scientific Industries, Inc.) where they make laser trimming systems.
I sort of fell into technical writing. It's a rather thankless job - no one likes to write the manuals, they would rather engineer the systems and walk awa...Expand for more
y! But, there are folks out there who would appreciate knowing how to operate the systems, so I'm the chosen martyr for the task.
If I could do anything else (and often think about this), I'd probably do something in the line of landscaping, or working outside with my hands - maybe even construction. Who knows, maybe someday I will!
