Anne's Story

After St Albert's I went to school at the NY Foundling Hospital. I only stayed a few months, deciding that getting married and having my own babies was more important to me at that time. (Selfish huh?) Worked for NY Telephone Company, got married in September 1968, had my daughter in Dec., 1969. Two years later I had my son. My husband & I just celebrated our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. We became grandparents for the first time on Novembe 24th,2009! Our grandson Ryan has brought so much sunshine into our lives. He is an adorble baby boy who just lights up our lives. I'm 61 years old now, something I still can't believe! I work part time, three days a week for a great company and have great bosses who understand that we ar...Expand for more
e all human. I'm approaching retirement age (62) but am not sure what I'll be doing about that. I hated football when we were young but now am an avid JETS fan. My favorite player, Leon Washington was just traded. What do I do with my t-shirt? I always said the reason I loved football as I got older is because it brought my family together on Sundays! I truly believe there is nothing more important in this world than family. I've spent the last couple of months organizing our reunion which will take place on Oct 2nd. In doing that, I've rekindled friendships from high school. People like Jean Droney, Carol Nespoli, & Marion Pluta have helped in every step of the way. I'm so grateful for their help and their friendship!
