ching. I was teaching sixth grade math and science in 1999 at West Middle School, here in Statesville when I was injured. I slipped in the school's parking lot on black ice and hit my head on the pavement. I was not expected to survive. After seven years in rehabilitation in Atlanta,I am home again. I am most fortunate. I had to relearn everything. I am doing well! No one believed that I would survive, much less live alone again. I take nothing for granted. All is good! I would love to hear from you. Thank you for letting me share my story with you. Warmly, Annette
