Life
My Spouse
We met at age 23 in Berkeley. Ben was my college boyfriend's next door neighbor, and became my friend. When I married in '76, he came from D.C. to attend. I divorced in '81 and we reconnected. It's been 27 years, and we've been married for 20.
My Pets
A pair of formerly feral brother cats, each weighs 17 or so pounds, not fat, just HUGE - tall and long. Named them for the friends who forced us to take them - Bobcat & Alleycat - well, Bob & Al! Al died of a strange autoimmune problem, and we go...Expand for more

My Job
Retired from career as PC computer hardware and ergonomics consultant to care for my father's affairs and my health. Both doing well now. I'm still retired from paid work, but use a lot of my time to volunteer in my community.
I sit on the board of a local non-profit concerned with our neighborhood development. We have built a library and a children's park among other things. This is my second go-round on this board, and I am glad to be involved.
