Annette's Story
Life
I am happily married. I have two grown children from my first marriage. Five beautiful grandchildren. A wonderful stepdaughter.
School
I moved to Windsor after my first semester at General Amherst. I was enrolled at Kennedy and ended up finishing at Shawnee. I guess you can say that I was not comfortable with the move so I switched schools to where my new friends were going, not a verey good decision.
Workplace
I worked for fourteen years at Riverside Fabricating at first as a...Expand for more
General Labourer. I am a Heath and Safety instructor, so I delivered the safety training at work; such as Forklift Operator Training, hazard specific, I also instructed courses at Local 195 to workers that were interested in health and safety. I moved up at work to Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. The plant was sold to Industrialex Manufacturing and within two years it closed. I then had been asked by one of our customers to work for them as a Training Consultant.
Now I am unemployed.
