Annette's Story
Wasnt very popular in elemetary school. Had 3 girlfriends,at least I considered them my "girls", Krista, Debbie, and Leslie. Always picked last for any sport,even though i was good. My only brother "buddy", was a holy terror. My older sister Brenda was one of Pioneers greatest track stars. I enjoyed being on the volleyball and basketball teams. Graduation night, June 1979, the last song of..............elementary years and memories, I was enlightened by my dance partner ( J.D'), the reasons for all of the ugly/nastiness from most of the guys. First of all I was'nt born in El Dorado Co., but my grandparents lived across from the old school house,(b-4 pioneer was built), it was owned by the Dixons,it still served as a bus stop for school. Pretty much J.D'. stuck up for me during my years at pioneer. John, U changed my life so much that night, thank you. Went to El Dorado High for my freshman year, and part of my soph. year. Moved around a bit, then my family finally settled in Oroville, CA., graduated from Oroville High. Got married, began a career in the medical field. Graduated from Western Career College,4th in my class. Love my job, have 3 kids, Jennifer, Tiffany, and Anthony, and 1 grandchild Dean.No longer married, but still good friends. Anyway, I also have a house in Las Vegas, and a couple of property rentals, so for the "ugly" girl from the "hill", I've done pretty well I think. Guess thats all for now.
