Anthony's Story

I left Niles in 1966 for the U.S Navy. Trained as a Hosptal Corpsman at Great lakes and sent to Bethesda,Md for further training as an Operating Room Technician. In 1968, I was sent for tour in Viet Nam in charge of surgery and sick call. I was discharged in 1970 with an honorable discharge and a Navy Commendation. February 1...Expand for more
970, I joined the Alexandria,Virginia Police Department.I served in the patrol division until 1975 and received the Parade Magazine/International Police Chiefs Award. From 1975 until 1997 I was a K-9 handler and trainer for the department. I was retired in 1997 for service connected disabilities. I currently live in Virginia.
