Anthony's Story
Life
I have been in the Navy since graduation and after 20 long years I have finally retired from it. I have had the opportunity to see a lot of strange and beautiful things, including war. I was married for 10 years to a woman named Phoebe from New Orleans and have two kids, a girl, Ashley Nicole, 15, and a boy, Damian Christopher, 13. I am now married to a beautiful woman named Elizabeth from Puerto Rico, We live in Florida now and have three other children, Juan DeJesus, 7, Alexa Marie, 3 and Sean Anthony 2. Over the last 20 years I have lived in Cuba, Pensacola Fl, Pascagoula MS, Charleston SC, Jacksonville Fl (twice), Virginia Beach Va (twice), San Diego CA, Seattle and Orlando so I am used to moving. on slowing down a lot now and enjoying life, my wife and children. My mother lives with me and with her around everything is complete.
Military
I have been in the Navy for 20 years now and I FINALLY have retired. I have been to more places than I could list here, lets just say I have been around the world more than once. I have been on 7 ships, USS Spruance, USS S.W. Groves, USS Thorn, USS Philippine Sea, USS Howard, USS Thach, USS Momsen and have been an Instructor twice teaching Air control on both Coasts. I was apart of the Persian Gulf War and every conflict since then in one way or another. The Navy is not for everyone but for me somehow it fit and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a career.
