I now am blind in my left eye. I had surgery on both my eyes. I had a detached retina in my left eye and a torn retina in my right. My right eye has recovered for now but I am completely blind in my left eye. Maybe after more surgery my sight can be restored. I have a nitrous oxide bubble in my left eye to hold things in place. **update**
I ended up with a cataract on my left eye because of all the damage to my eye. I have tunnel vision and vision of only 70/20 and my pupil doesn’t work,but with glasses my right eye is a 20/20! Don’t take your vision for granted. If you see shadows or flashes SEE YOU EYE SPECIALIST IMMEDIATELY!
