College
Most of my credits are CCAF (Community College of the Air Force) I have an Instructor of Technology and Military Science degree and Information Systems Technology, and am pursuing a degree with Vincennes University.

Military
TSgt Anthony G Vining is a Military Training Instructor with the 324th Training Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas . TSgt Vining earned the right to wear the distinctive MTI Campaign Cap in January of 2004, and was assigned to a four year term with the 324th TRS in April of 2004.
Vining was born April 19, 1968 in Fort Wayne , Indiana to Paul J. and Patricia L. Vining. Tony Moved from Fort Wayne to Roanoke , Indiana in April of 1977 and attended Huntington North High School . Tony returned to Fort Wayne in November of 1996; and now resides in San Antonio , Texas .
ViningÂs Career started when he joined the 434th Communications Flight, Air Force Reserves, Grissom Air Force Base, Indiana on 27 January, 1989, and was assigned as an Electronic Communications equipment and Systems Technician in the Secure Communications division.
Vining attended Air Force Basic Military Training School at Lackland Air Force Base, beginning in February of 1989, and remained at Lackland for Technical Training, Returning to Indiana in November of that year.
After Achieving the Rank of Senior Airman in 1991, Vining transferred to the 235th Air Traffic Control Flight, Indiana Air National Guard, Fort Wayne , Indiana . After Technical Training as an Air Traffic Controller at Keesler AFB, MS, Vining was assigned to the 305th Communications Squadron, Grissom AFB for initial Follow-on.
In March of 1994. Vining transferred to the 122nd Communications Flight, Indiana Air National Guard. Fort Wayne , Indiana , where he served as a Computer Systems Implementation manager and Communications-Computer System Operator.

d Hourglass, the Military Training Instructor Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service award (4X), Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal (3X), National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star device, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding unit Award (3X), Air Force Achievement Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal. State awards include the Indiana Volunteer Service Emblem, Indiana OCONUS ribbon, Indiana National Emergency Service Ribbon, Indiana Long Service Medal, Indiana Retention Ribbon, Indiana Recruiting Ribbon (3X), and the Indiana Commendation Medal.
TSgt Vining's dedication to recruiting has allowed him to claim 4 enlistments in the 122nd Fighter Wing; 3 within FY2002 alone.
TSgt Vining was recognized with the Air Force Commendation Medal by Major General Donald Shepherd, Director of the Air National Guard, for his participation in the People Potential 2000 and Beyond program. Using Advanced internet collaboration tools, the PP 2K + committee made recommendations to the National Guard Human Resource Quality Board on ways to increase Cultural Diversity in the Air National Guard. The PP2K.+ program remains active with new ANG Leadership; and has been recognized by numerous civilian and military organizations as an outstanding model for Diversity work plans.
TSgt Vining was the 1998 Airman of the Year for the 122nd Fighter Wing, and the State of Indiana and was nominated for recognition as one of the 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year (Air Force Wide) for CY 1998.
TSgt Vining's contributions to the Exploring program on the base assisted in them earning Post of the Year honors in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2001. In addition, through his service to this Post, TSgt Vining has earned Advisor of the Year 1997, the Anthony Wayne Area Council Patch, the Advisor's Key, and was the honored recipient of the District award of Merit in 1998.
TSgt Vining served as the Communications Augmentee to the 122nd Fighter WingÂs deployment to Peyea-LeBar Air Base, Republic of Singapore.
TSgt Anthony Vining's 16 years of service reflects great credit upon himself, and the United States Air Force.
