Life I have lived in Colorado for 6 years now and have settled in the City of Thornton just 10 miles north of Denver. The Rocky Mountains are very beautiful and words cannot describe how great nature is out here. I escape to Mexico every now and then; love Mexico City and Ixtapa! I really enjoy the community I live in and the friends that I've made through political activism, Colorado Citizens for Peace, my neighbors and from the staff that I work with at Vantage Point High School. This is my seventeenth year of teaching alternative education and social studies (Economics and history). I advise the school's first Gay-Straight Student Alliance (GSA). I am very active socially, politically, and spiritually here in Colorado. I volunteer, go clubbin', protest the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and serve on a number of non-profit boards as a grant writer. I enjoy my weekends and like to just sit back and read a good book every now and then. Traveling is fun, but I enjoy staying close to home more than ever. I am a representative of the Green Party of Colorado for the Institute of International Education, and work with minor parties from other countries.
