Antonio's Story
Antonio Santos, who for the most part goes by the name of Tony Santos, joined the United States Army immediately after graduating from Bristol County Agricultural High School (September 1965). Tony went through extensive training, spent two years in Viet-Nam as a member of the 101st Airborne Division followed by 21 additional years and retirement from active duty as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1988. In preparation for retirement and a new career he committed to his lifelong dream of completing his education. Tony graduated with honors from American National College with a BachelorâÂÂs Degree in Business Administration and a BachelorâÂÂs Degree in Applied Management. He continued his efforts and completed a MasterâÂÂs Degree in Management and a MasterâÂÂs Degree in Procurement and Acquisitions from Webster University.

in Haiti, Bosnia, Hungary, Albania and Kosovo. Coming out of Kosovo he was asked to fill the position of Transportation and Maintenance Manager for Westover Air Base in Westover, Massachusetts. After a successful two years he volunteered for a Contracts ManagerâÂÂs position at Fort Knox Kentucky. His assignment at Fort Knox, Kentucky was interrupted with three emergency assignments managing contracts for Hurricane Ivan in Pensacola, Florida, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana and Hurricane Wilma in the Florida Keys. His return drive to Fort Knox was interrupted with a request to stop off at Cape Canaveral, Florida where he accepted an assignment as Contracts Manager for the Installation of the Eastern Process Facility, a National Reconnaissance Office Project for the Space Launch Program.
Following the Cape Canaveral Project Tony returned back with two years working in Kuwait, Oman and Udairi. Tony is now back at his home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky
