TONY's Story
Life
Tony Wilson is President of SDVoBMall.com LLC, an export management firm located in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
Currently we direct the supply chain logistics and delivery work of full-time SDVOBMall.com personnel and resources both here in the Washington D.C. area and “boots on the ground” throughout the globe in over 12 different time zones (Kuwait, Austria, Kenya, Germany, Italy, Philippines, Ghana and Lome, Togo), along with folks in San Jose, Marietta, Miami, Florida and New Orleans.
Our core services are Global Trade, Products & Raw Materials Sourcing, Exporting Solutions, Warehousing, and Trade Finance Services. We provide logistics and coverage at many of the over 1,900 international ports around the globe.
Technology also helps our company to rapidly deploy resources in search of goods and services in any corner of the globe usually within a matter of minutes and hours as opposed to weeks and days. We just recently became certified suppliers to the Brazilian Olympics in 2016, thanks in part to our relationships with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Exports assistance program.
Tony’s unparalleled success with key industry giants such as Pediatric Critical Care Medical Group & University Children’s Medical Group (Children’s Hospital of Southern California), Romac Enterprises, Columbia Healthcare Corp, Per Se Technologies and Louisiana State University Healthcare Network laid the foundation for his highly respected position within the medical community. Tony’s contractual oversight as a federal procurement officer with such giants such as McKesson Pharmaceuticals, Cardinal Health, and the OmniCell Corporation primed Tony as the decision maker in charge of over $1.64B in government spending initiatives.

ployee, assigned to the Veterans Integrated Services Network in Long Beach, California. He served as a Healthcare Management Executive and successfully augmented federal infrastructure and contributed to many agency successes; this coupled with fostering Six-Sigma principles, implemented highly effective solutions based problem-solving techniques and instituted IT programs geared at increasing missed areas of revenue opportunities within the VA. His time-tested processes and “outside the box” management systems continue to positively impact the Veteran’s Health Administration’s National Healthcare Delivery System.
As a result of his contribution to the VA, Tony has received extensive professional recognition for his accomplishments. For outstanding service, Tony was a awarded a five year scholarship by the Veterans Benefits Administration to pursue continued studies in pursuit of a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in healthcare, a Masters Degree in both Health and Business Administration.
Tony Wilson’s intuitiveness and foresight into internal government based operations may very well have been the catalyst SDVoBMall.com needed; positioning them in a prime slot as a vendor of choice in providing government sourcing solutions to the “Big Four” agencies, i.e., Department of Defense, Indian Health Services, Veterans Health Administration, and the National Institute of Health.
Workplace
Work has been my life, as with most of us! (Big Smile)
Remember to take it slow and also be careful what you wish for....because you just may get it when you least expect it. Take some time to enjoy the flowers, the sunrises and sunsets. Life's not short at all, but it can be if you're taking it two weeks at a time.
Be good to yo'selves!
Military
Medically retired from the military after serving during Operation Desert Storm / Desert Shield. But even after the storms there comes a rain. Still considered some of the best years of my life though. (smile)
