April's Story

Life After graduating from Friends Univesity, I taught third and fourth grade at Wichita Friends School. I married Derrick Saraceni in June of 2000, and moved with him to Alaska, where I taught kindergarten and first grade at Sonrise Christian School. e moved to Great Falls, MT. I worked for 1 year as the lead teacher of the part-day preschool program at the Child Development Center on Malmstrom Air Force Base. We moved to Cavalier, North Dakota, in 2007, where Derrick works as a Captain in the Air Force, monitoring the skies with satellites. We have a little boy, born in May of 2005, named Leo, and a Jack Russel Terrier named Toby.
