April's Story
Life
I left Califonia nearly 6 years ago in the hopes of starting a new life. It's a been a long difficult journey, but about 4 years ago I not only had a great job but I also met Jeff whom I married in 2004 in Laguna Beach, Ca. We moved from Scottsdale, Arizona to Prescott, Arizona with our two Persian cats in 2005. We bought a house and acquired 3 more cats and 3 dogs. I'm still working on making a good life, but I feel very blessed to have gained so many friends and family since coming to Arizona. It is amazing to think that 6 years ago my life was a mess and I only had a handful of people in my life that really cared. Now life for me is full of wonderful, real people that care about the more important thing...Expand for more
s in life. I owe it all to God who I know brought me to where I am now. It took me a long time to sort through all the confusion I had, but I finally became a Christian and now go to church regularly where I can show my gratitude to God in worship, but also in the way I live my life. For anyone out there that may ever be curious enough to read this, I hope your life is all that you wanted it to be....hopefully it all wasn't all for nothing....
College
Just have two associates degrees ...at the moment. Hope to have my bachelor's by the end of summer '08.
Workplace
I've been working in juvenile detention for over five years. I left Maricopa County almost three years ago and am now working for Yavapai County.
