April's Story
Life
Since high school so much has changed. I started off at WSU and then transfered to BCC after a year and a half. After BCC, I went to Seattle University where I got my Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2003. I finally got my CPA license in June of 2006 - YAY!!! Now I'm an Assistant Controller for a hotel & resort corporation in Bellevue.
I got married Sept. 2nd, 2000 (coming up on 7 years now!!!) to the most wonderful man in the world. We have two absolutely beautiful daughters, Kimberlee was born...Expand for more

Workplace
After graduation from Seattle University in 2003, I continued working part-time through the summer, while taking an extra Auditing class. At the end of the summer, I was hired as the Accountant for Emerald Harbor Marine in Seattle. I worked there until February of 2004, when my daughter was born 2 1/2 months early. I am now a stay-at-home-mom to a 6 month old, and am currently in the process of getting my own accounting company started!
