April's Story
When I was about to begin the 8th grade my parents shipped me off from Philadelphia to Old Saybrook. It was a culture shock, but I found Old Saybrook very refreshing. I had great fun. I remember skating on Saturdays at the junior high gym, making new friends, and doing a great deal of walking all over town. I attended Saybook High for one year. ost for me during a very crital time in my life. I have so many great memories of Saybrook. My thanks to all my former classmates there for putting up with and helping a troubled little girl.
My parents missed me and I returned to Philadelphia for grades 10 - 12. I was enrolled at Phil-Mont Christian Academy. Lots of laughs. Singing in the choir and starting a gospel group with my friends was great.
