April's Story
Life
After graduating from Heritage High School, I went to Longwood College. I joined Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority in the fall of 1994 and graduated with a bachelor of science in 1997, majoring in liberal studies and minoring in journalism.
I worked for a while for weekly newspapers as a writer, photographer, page designer and editor in Nelson County and Salem.
I currently work as the office manager and writer for the Blue Ridge Business Journal and maintain the websites of a local construction company and real estate magazine.
I live in Forest, and recently gave birth to my first child, Joseph Reagan!
School
In high school I was very involved in the symphonic and marching bands, where I was a member of the percussion section and drum line. I also was in the National Honor So...Expand for more

College
Well as I said in my beginning bio I went to Longwood College from 1993 to 1997. I joined Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority in 1994. I had some of the best times of my life in college that I will always remember. I was involved with the swim team and participated regularly with my sorority in intramural football and volleyball. Although I studied to be an elementary school teacher, I got into communications and journalism during the last semester of school and really enjoyed it so I decided to make that my career.
