April's Story
Life
My motto in life has always reflected the attitude of this quote " All things are possible until proven impossible, and even the impossible may only be so as of now." (Pearl S. Buck)
I'm certain my high school teachers, and possibly a few friends and early college teachers would not have conceived of me working toward a Master's degree. That's my current goal. By my estimation, anything is possible. Who I am is continuously evolving. For my 37th birthday I gave myself the gift of a pilot lesson. Flying is incredible...everyone should try it once. I'm taking ballet to increase my flexiblity and self-discipline. I live in Carmel, IN...north of Indianapolis... and have for the last decade. I'm the mother of two incredible boys that have kept me running for the past seven + years. My boys are one yea...Expand for more
r apart, almost to the day. That's incredible in it's own right. And indeed I'm single. Wouldn't change a thing in that arena either, despite the road being a bit rough. I'm more into sports than in my high school days and keep in shape mostly by swimming, running, & weightlifting. keeping up with my boys has been a challenge,though. I was recently "benched" by them when playing basketball. I've been relegated to audience status due to my lack of "skills" when it comes to playing "hoops". It's truly a good thing watching kids surpass what even they think they can do. Hope everyone else has kept reaching for ...whatever their goals are! :).
BTW...what gifts have you given yourselves lately? Remember...this is the only life you've got(& even if you don't believe that0...don't take it for granted.
