April's Story
Life
I work part time as a nurse. I have 2 young children and I am happily married for 17 years. I like to exercise, travel, and read.
School
High school was hard for me because I was shy. My friends and boyfriend were everything to me. I do wish I would have concentrated more on school . I would also have spent more quality time with my friends. All things happen for a reason, so I guess I would not change anything.
College
What I remember most is the horrible all night study sessions for 5 tests the next day in my nursing classes. Being ...Expand for more
totally stressed out and hoping I had remembered enough to get a decent grade. Thank god for my husband who was right there quizzing me and giving me encouragement. I cannot see myself doing anything else except flying to California and becoming a dancer!(hee-hee!)
Workplace
I have worked in a doctors office for a short time, but my true calling is in the hospital. 12 hour days are hard but its worth it.
I also work as a Zumba dance instructor. Zumba toning, Zumba Gold, Zumba kids. I am also a certified group fitness instructor. I love it!!
