Aquilla's Story
I have been married for 20 years 02/18/1989 to the love of my life -
Robert Mahurien :D
I love him with all my heart.
No doubt in mind, God brought us together.
Since I loved to talk so much in high school, and ditching as well. My parents pulled me out and put me into The Pilgrim's Private School. It was a half home school, half class.
I always had my work completed for the week by Tuesday. That gave me extra time for a part-time job.
I started working for Montgomery Ward,
and that is where I met Robert.
During that time I received The Community Service Award from the
Kiwani Club. For visiting and singing at nursing homes, helping kids after school, Helping with food programs, my services for the church.
I was tired of the home school, though I had lots of friends in it,
I got my GED, and tried joining the Navy. I passed all their tests except the hearing test, all because of a little ringing in my ears.
Found out I only needed 6 units for
High School Diploma, which I got in 1987.
Trista and I went to the same college to become medical assistants. But my heart was not in it. I really enjoyed working with kids and youth.
So Robert and I after we got married started working with kids, youth..etc.
He is always adding to his education. He was/is a complete computer geek... but he had those muscles in that tight muscle shirt, tight 501's when we met...lol
Allot of times it still feels like when we were dating. He treats me like a queen.. I love him very, very much!! <3
Robert works as a computer IT at Corcoran Prison. He is also our youth pastor at church, I am a youth leader there as well. I used to be a children's choir director.
I have 3 wonderful awesome sons;
Robbie age 18 is in college at C.O.S
he will be transferring to CalPoly next year. He wants to become an architect. He is very talented. He plays the guitar and sings. He is our youth group's worship leader. He plays at 3 other churches as well.
He has played Link in the musical Hair Spray. He is going to be a camp leader this summer. He and his friend will be in a Hannah Montana musical at camp...yes we are teasing him...lol
Jacob age 16 This is his last year in high school. He will be joining the Army next year... He was born a solider. He is in the Ca. Cadets...Expand for more
. He has a very strong sense of love for our country. He writes poems and stories like I do. He wants to be an author when he is out of the Army.
We always have very deep conversations. He is very loving, and kind. He also loves martial arts.
Josh age 13 Will be starting his first year of high school.. sniff sniff...my baby ;P
He is very intelligent (straight A's all the time), plays baseball, does long distance running on track team. He wrote a story in the 4th grade, and the Porterville School district had it published. Trista says that Josh is a mini me.. with the jokes, pranks, weird sense of humor...lol
That's why Trista loves me... xD
He wants to become a computer/video game programmer.
All my boys can build, fix, upgrade computers. They do this for extra money.
Right now I have pink hair. Pink is my very, very favorite color. I love to rock out with the boys on Rock Band
I love to play RPG's Final Fantasy being my favorite. I still have my Atari 2600, and all the different Nintendo and Play Stations, Xbox consoles.
I love anime, and mangas...yes I'm a little pink nerd.. :P
I love all my computer friends out there <3
My favorite anime site that I belong to is awesome. John the creator of the site is totally awesome.
TRISTA,IS MY BEST FRIEND WE HAVE BEEN BEST FRIENDS FOR WAY OVER 30YRS. SHE IS ONE OF VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO REALLY UNDERSTANDS ME.
WE ARE MORE LIKE SISTERS THAN ANYTHING. YES I'M THE OLDER ONE BY TWO MONTHS AND SHE NEVER LETS ME FORGET IT.
SHE IS THE ONLY ONE I WILL CALL MY BEST FRIEND I LOVE HER ALLOT. TRISTA IS BEAUTIFUL, SMART, SARCASTIC IN A FUNNY WAY, WE LAUGH AND CRY ABOUT THE SAME THINGS AND SHE SCARES THE HECK OUT OF ME WHEN SHE DRIVES ;p
AND SHE WILL KILL ME WHEN SHE READS ABOUT HER DRIVING...LOL
I am still so totally crazy over Rick

I also write poems, skits, and plays.
Love to sing, and be in the plays..etc
Trista and I go to the same church.
And we still have so much fun together. But I love to tease her...lol and she loves to hit me.. :P
Well that is about it. There is so much stuff I could write, if I had the time.
After I get my hair retouched (pink)
for my birthday will post a now picture..well maybe...lol
