Aran's Story
Life
I currently work as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the Art Institute Online. I am also an artist and graphic designer. I have designed logos for several companies, state agencies and organizations located in the Springfield, IL and surrounding area. I moved to AZ in August of 06 in hopes of perusing my artistic talent and one day, opening an art gallery. When I am not working at the college I try to come up with new artwork for art shows. in Phoenix called First Fridays. The 1st Friday of every month artists from the area show and sell their work. In 1997 I graciously took part in an excavation in my hometown of Beardstown, IL. I volunteered my time as an excavator and field artist. I assisted with the removal of several remains and artifacts, as well as illustrated several artifacts for the Illinois State Museum Collection and Resource Center. My illustrations and findings can be located at the Illinois State Museum in Springfield, IL.
