Life After High School, I went to UC Riverside, then UCLA, studying Theatre. After College, I hung around in LA for a year or two, went up to Seattle, and did some little shows for a couple of years, then went back home to LA. To pay the bills, I worked in offices, first as an assistant, then Office Manager. I moved through Purchasing and Training, and found myself in the IT Department. I worked Help Desk, but mostly did User Training and Technical Writing (documents, manuals, brochures, etc.). I had my last salaried office job in 1996, and have been "consulting" since then.
