1996-December - retired with one wife, 4 children and seven grandchildren
March 2005 we went on a 9 day pilgrimage to the Baha'i World Center and gardens in Haifa, Israel
In April 2007 I spent some time in the hospital with a kidney problem. I now have dialysis twice a week and have to watch my diet. Everything that I like and is good, I can't have. The three weeks I spent in the hospital did have one good result - I gave up smoking....
In 2008 I sold my 1969 Karmann Ghia,
I have a busy life with:
my ham radio - K6MZL,
building radio controlled model boats,
my neighborhood radio station-KMTZ,
I have been doing some genealogy research on the Shaffer-Hawkins families on MyHeritage.com
my personal webserver,
internet surfing and email,
MySpace and an occasional YM all by glynn19,
operating 'Voicemail For The Homeless' for Contra Costa county,
computer building and programming,
the Baha'i Faith and the grandkids.....
I'm old as dirt... but good as gold (and still cute ;-)
