Arnold's Story
The high school I attended was Maytown High. That is where I loved playing basketball.
I was born in Garrett, Kentucky. I left Garrett in 1953 when I joined the Army. I was stationed at Lewis McCord Airbase for three years until I was honorably discharged in 1956. In 1954 I met my wife Hattie Nelson in Yakima, WA. We married a few months later. When I met Hattie I told her my name was Lee (my middle name). We have one son and two daughters. We have eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Hattie passed away in 2012 when we had been married over 57 years.
We started our own buisness, Lee's Appliance in 1957. I gave the buisness to our son andI retired in 2011.
Music that I like includes The Howdy Boys, Bo Isaac and The Rounders, Bluegrass and Gospel. Books I like include Keep Calm And Have A Cuppa Mug Cup Tea Pot Coffee Black White 2011. The Bible.
