College
As a Music Education Major at RPI (now VCU) with an Instrument major on the French Horn.
Life after college
I joined the US Navy and became a Naval Aviator. Served the country for 21 years and retired as a Commander (0-5). During my time in the Navy, i had the opportuinty to Direct Chapel Choirs as well as the Pre-Flight Choir in Pensacola, FL. We then moved to Maine where I opened a Furniture Refinishing and Sales Store. Later on I became a Music Teacher in Maine as well as held different sales positions. I am now actively offering Business Opportunities in a relaxed (retired) manner thru various MLM opportunities. Lost over 70 lbs. and reduced the waist size by 10" and heading down to 190 lbs.! Just been selected as the Director of a Community band called: FANFARE CONCERT BAND. They have about 45 members on their roster, but only about 35-38 can play at one time because of vacations and reserve commitments. We play all summer on Thursday evenings at the famous 'Poland Springs Inn & Resort' in Poland , Maine. Would love to see you there this summer.
Family info
I have 5 Children and 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. Life is and has been very, very good to me! My bride of 54 years was Viola Mae (Williamson) Hyman Class of '48. She died of Lewy Body Dementia in 2008.

I am now dating (long distance) Peggy Jane (Loftis) Werner of the Class of '50. She wore my Band and Staff Colors at JM during my Jr/Sr years. [Love those VA girls! (LOL)]
