Arnold's Story
Life
We're doing well in Long Island, NY. Oldest son living in Boston area, working in computers; middle son in college; daughter in high school.
College
Made it through a few universities: BS in psychology from Loyola University (Chicago); MSW from University of Illinois (Chicago Circle), Ordination and another bachelors degree from Hebrew Theological College (aka Skokie Yeshiva). Got stuck as an all but disseratation in a doctoral program in education at St. Louis University.
Picked up a few more credentials along the way: Hebrew Teachers' Lice...Expand for more
nse and Hebrew Principals' License from National Board of License, and even an RJE (Reform Jewish Educators) title.
Workplace
30 years in Jewish education, now at the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York, as Westchester Regional Director and Director of Adult Learning and Leadership. Have had a pretty varied career: adult education, congregational rabbi, national director of education (Jewish National Fund), BJE director (Rhode Island), Hebrew High school teacher and principal, youth director, and even a few summers working at Camp Yavneh.
