NC Classmates, HI to all. Just wanted to update my profile. My current employment status is retired as of SEP2008. Yes, I finally took off my uniform. I had the previlege of wearing the uniform of the US Army for over 42 years in one status of another. Though I've been called back to continue to serve in civilian status a couple of times. But I'm definitely retired.So, the military shouldn't interfear with future re-unions. Though having just returned from 3 months in Florida with my wife's parents, as they have two places to live on their property, my days here are spent trying to catch up on all the projects that I've put off for many years in some cases. I enjoy working in and around my barn. I restored an old 1955 Allis Chalmers WD-45 this winter in Forida. I'm now begining to build an addition onto the barn. My health has been OK. Just a little heart attack in 2000, all fixed and no damage, taking a few pills every day, taking care of BP, cholosterol and a litttle type II diabetis. My weight is good. So, my philosphy is: wake up, it's agood day; stand up and it's a better day and walk to the bathroom, it's a great day. Think about it... As for my family, Terrie and I will be married 30 years this year, guess third time was the charm. I had a wonderful time raising Terrie's daughter since she was just eleven months old, so she's just my daughter. Daughters never go away though.
