Arthur's Story
Life
Since 1977 I've worked in public radio as a program director and manager. I started in a small station in the California foothills (Nevada City), worked in Ketchikan, AK, Pullman, WA, then to Minnesota Public Radio where I was the top programming officer. turn to the DC area, something I had never imagined I'd do, as VP of Radio for WETA.
When my step-daughter got a job at Colgate University, we decided to move to central NY to be around our 2 growing grandsons (now 15 and 17) We live on a farm dating to 1882 with 8 acres. I am now president of the Public Radio Program Directors Association and have established its office in Hamilton, NY.
It's beautiful out here in the country!
