Andy's Story
Life
After graduating from high school, I joined the Navy. After my enlistment was up I took min. wage jobs until I was hired as a police officer in Oakland, Calif.(50th Recruit Academy). Stayed there almost 12 yrs. went into trucking; car sales, then back into police work. I fully retired as a police sergeant in 1999 after 26 years in law enforcement.
In the 45 years since graduation, I've been married three times, and am now currently divorced. Eventually, moved to Utah where I live today with my daughter and her family.
This is probably more information than you will ever need, but, hell, my life is an open book. :-)
School
I have some very good memories of my days at AHS. I enjoyed being on the freshman football team in 1956 and being told to try and block Nick Annas...what a laugh!! I mean, he stood head and shoulders taller than me and weighed over hundred pounds more than I did. What a hoot!

nyway, I cherish those days and the friends I made while I was there.
I also have fond memories of my days at CMA during my Junior and Low Senior years (Sept. '58 - Feb. '60). Most of them have to do with the camaraderie that I had with the other cadets and my instructors.
College
Really enjoyed my short stay at Texas Tech. Unfortunately, my father's illness forced me to drop out. I had a great time attending the Sigma Nu parties and meeting many nice people. I'm hoping that I'll be able to locate some of my classmates through this site. I've posted my picture in hopes that maybe someone will remember me and make contact.
Workplace
Let's see...hmmmm....well, I was in the US Navy from 1961 to 1965. 1965 to 1967 was a computer operator. 1967 - 1979 an Oakland Police Officer. 1979- 1981 owner operator of a trucking company. 1981 - 1983 Salesman. 1983 - 1999 a police officer/sergeant until my retirement.
