AshLeigh's Story
Life
My husband, Tony, and I have been happily married 12 years. We have a beautiful daughter, Sarah JoyBeth, who is almost 21 months. She is the light of our life and we are so blessed to have her!
My husband and I are the youth directors at our church and have been for about 8 years now. We currently live in Keller, Texas where my husband was raised.
I am very happy with the way my life has turned out and looking forward to what God has for me in the future.
The reason I have joined Classmates is to track down the class of 96 and 97. I hope to find out how some of my old friends are doing.
School
I grew up in the Boyd Independent School district. It seems that almost all of my classmates where with me from kindergarten on. My favorite principal was Mr. Howard in high school. artin 5th grade, Mrs. Adcock 6th grade, Mrs. Teal 8th grade, and probably through high school, even though he was a little cooky at times, Mr. Anderson, the choir director. Some of my fondest memories is sitting in what we called the "mall" in the high school and talking during lunch or in between classes. I also really enjoyed all my years in choir. I started when I was in the 6th grade and went through high school.
College
Since high school I have attended 1 year at Arlington Baptist College with a major in education and minor in bible. I am now enrolled at Louisiana Baptist University as an Elementary Education Major. I am in a distance ed program that allows me to work at my own pace and I love it (when I actually find the time to work on it.)
Workplace
Currently, I am a stay at home mom. Though this does take up most of my time, I still manage to clean our church once a week and on occasion other friends and family.
