Ashley's Story
Life
I went to school in Salina Kansas and I joined the Army there also. Now I have just recently moved to Texas near the Gulf Coast and it is great. I am just loving the things that I can do around here. The only thing that I miss is going to the clubs. Not many around where I live.
School
Well, as far as high school goes, I would not have dropped out, got my GED and went in the Army. Ok, well I still would hvae went to the Army but I would have finished high school since my parents never moved to Wichita like they said that they were going to. I would have continued running track and cross country like I wanted because I loved it and I was damn good at it. Workplace
As far as work goes, I have had many jobs. The job that I want though is to be a secretary or in a clerical position. I love to do office work.
Military
I went to Basic in South Carolina at Fort Jackson. I left my home on April 1st of 2002 and returned a better person on July 20th of 2002. I did my basic and AIT all in one shot because I thought that it would be better that way. I was in the HQ 235th Regiment for almost all 3 years that I have been in the service but I recently moved to Texas and now I am in a Unit in Austin because it is the headquarters unit and I was told that I would have less chance of going overseas that way.
