Life I lived in Lawson Mo for only a few short years but they were the best years! My first friend I ever had was my next door neighbor, Ryan, who I would love to meet up with again someday. It was a small town but very cozy and friendly. When I moved here to Michigan, it was a big culture shock. For many years I was shy and I kept to myself mostly. My mother and stepfather, Steve, had gotten a divorce, he stayed in Mo while Mom, my brother Josh, and I moved here to Haslett. When my mom and stepdad were married, us kids took his last name, Schottel. Growing up, I thought Steve was my real father. My mom kept the truth from me because she thought I was too young to understand. It wasn't until we moved to MI that I learned that my last name was actully Aldrich. I have a good relationship with my birth dad but I still keep in contact with Steve, to me he will always be my Dad. Right now I'm working at a day spa as an esthetician(I specialize in skin care.)It's a great job to have, I meet a lot of new people everyday and I work with the greatest staff.
