Are we appproaching the "Golden Years"? It sure feels like to me. Having almost completed raising a large family and entering my second-to-last semester of college, I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. That is...for this phase of life. When I finish my degree in Anthropolgy in the Spring of 2007 (of which I have been working on since 2000) I am hoping to get involoved with international children's efforts. I believe in being and keeping active and involved.
My Spouse
Paul and I have been married for 31+ years. We've entered possibly the seventh phase of our nine lives. Life truly has its ups and downs, but we are still working on life together. Paul's current hobby/business is salvaging wood from old barns ...Expand for more
and outbuildings. He also enjoys reconstructing replicas of the old WPA outhouses.
My Pets
We have a boxer named Katie whom we inherited from our son upon his move to Maryland and one cat. Note: This is a considerable downsizing from my last update. (Life is in constant flux, isn't it?!)
My Kids
When you have eight children and you are as old as we are all becomming, change is infinitely represented in the younger generation. As soon as I enter this bio, someone new will be married or having a baby. And so it goes...! Our kids are wonderful human beings...kind and respectful of one another and fun to be around. They range in ages from twenty-nine to fifteen. Three of them have two children each, givng us six of the cutest grandkids you've ever seen!
