Audrey Brown:  

Life I attended Union High from 1956-59. I didn't know or befriend that many of my peers, although there are some who surprisingly remember me. I guess because I was one of the very few Black students at our school. It was a time of insecurity for me, even though I never experienced any racial bias. Not even from a teacher.I remember a few people with fondness I have no pets. But I do have 10 children, ages 25-47; five sons and 5 daughters, 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way. All of these very beloved ones from two marriages; Augustus Powell of Ashtabula, Ohio and presently, Francis Brown of Union Township. We've been married almost 32 years. As you can see, my career has been involved with having and raising children.(smile) I love children and I have to admit I've been fairly successful in forming the foundation of their present lives.
