Audrey's Story
I just joined Classmates again. Started my school years at Temperance St in New Glasgow, some NG Jr HIgh, then off to PWC in St John's, NL I only spent Grade 7 at PWC, Ms Simmonds class - Rick Decker was in the boys class I met him years later in Gander); then to Gander, NL to Hunt Memorial Academy, to the new school Gander Academy for highschool; (I did not attend Gander Collegiate, but I don't know how to remove it from Classmates);then to Middleton NS for Grade 12. I have many schools listed here, but I have also registered for my sisters who attended Parkens Academy (Joyce and Julia Mingo) in St John's; and Hollaway (Donna Mingo). We all attended different schools in St John's. Loved the moves, Gander was the best! Had the best highschool reunion in Gander in 2005.

Reporter in the Juvenile/Family Court, Accounting Clerk at Vocational School in Port Hawkesbury, and last, secretary in Halifax. I love scrapbooking; I enter contests, am a contest nut, have won 15 trips, an SUV, bbq's, sewing machines, appliances, bikes, many shopping sprees, Bonnie Stern cooked dinner at my place for 8 of my girlfriends (a win); my best vacation destinations are Bermuda and Newfoundland, but most often in Ottawa to see grandbabies. My father lives nearby, is 95, lives in his own home, is in good health, no pills! there are many Gander gettogethers around here or wherever, we have great times to this day.
So Middleton, this is our 50th anniversary year from graduation, should have a get together??? Just for a big dinner party??? No, they didn't like that idea.
My father at age 98 passed away in January 2013, he was in Parkstone Enhanced Care for 16 months, before that , on his own.
