Augustine's Story
After graduation, I attended Essex Catholic High School. In 1968, I went to Monmouth College, where I majored in history.
After Monmouth, I worked a various non-fulfilling jobs. My first good job was as a photo lab tech, ie. the person who prints photographs manually in a dark room. While working, I studied education at Montclair State and was certified to teach in 1984. I worked at the lab until 1986 when I entered the educational field.
I presently am a History teacher at East Side High School in Newark and the head fencing coach of the Millburn Girls Fencing Team.

fencing club where I give instruction in the sport of fencing. Although I like so many things, my enjoyment comes from driving old cars, photograhy, WW2, heraldry, music(listening to...), reading good fiction and of course history and politics.
Even though I'm not a computer genius, I'm savvy enough to be on and navigate through Facebook; you'll find me there.
Although I believe Europe is great because of its history and art I also find Hawai'i wonderful because it is so exotic and beautiful. I think sea turtles are fantastic.
I am married and have two daughters who are really cool.
