Life
Wow, I never thought my life could be as great as it is now. Things happened in fast-forward for me a few years back. I met a great woman, got saved by Jesus Christ, got engaged, got married, quit drinking, became a business owner and became a dad all in under 2 years! Funny... I was miserable for years but didn't know it because I really thought I was happy.
I'm still a Cowboys fan. I still love terrible movies and collecting all of my junk. I'm actually pretty easy to find these days too. College
I was on the cheer squad at UTEP. I became a college all-american and it wound up being one of the things I enjoyed most in my younger life. I did...Expand for more
cheer camps for 6 years and got to see the country from as far west as Honolulu (4 times) and as far east as Orlando and Baltimore. In college I had terms as president, vice-president and risk manager for Lambda Chi Alpha as well as IFC president. I finished with degrees in broadcasting and advertising.
Workplace
I'm currently owner and CEO of El Paso Fire Protection. I love working for myself because I have so much time to spend with my little son, Nicholas, who was born June 20, 2006. I worked part-time 3 years for Regent Communications (KLAQ/KSII/KROD radio) in El Paso before my real business really took off. I coached cheerleading for years and can still do most of the things I did in college.
My work takes me to many places around the city, which is where I see most people from my past -- especially if they're teachers since I inspect a lot of schools.
