Barb's Story

Life Military brat. Lived in Negishi, Japan, from 78 to 83, before moving to Adak, AK. We stayed there from 84 to 87 and then moved to Lake Villa, IL, where my dad retired from the Navy. After finishing college, I moved to Charleston, SC (for the worst reason ever...because a guy told me too), lived there for a little over a year, hated it, and moved back home in IL. I began to visit my sister out in the Quad Cities and began to like it and also was set up with a wonderful man who was from the area, and decided to move out and start over. I currently live in Moline, IL, in my first own home, with my boyfriend Tim of over 7 years (who I love more than life), and have two beautiful kids - German Sheppard puppies actually - Deiter and Zofia Kay "Zoe". Went to Bob Reeve from 84 to 87 and then moved to Lake Villa, IL, where my dad retired from the Navy. I went to Grayslake Community High School from 88 to 91 (and hated every minute of it). College Western came and gone...have a degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism Administration but not using in, and don't plan to. Finished my MBA at University of Phoenix in October 2004. No plans to go any further. Workplace Newly started with Nestle Purina Petcare, in Davenport, IA, as a Logistic Technical Specialist. I love the company and the wonderus challenges placed upon me. I am hoping to go further with this Fortune 500 international company.
