Barbara's Story
Life
I have worked at Normandeau Associates in Drumore for 42 years. I recently retired with 25 years of service to Quarryville Borough as Secretary/Treasurer. I still work at Normandeau and also I am now currently working as a part-time cashier at WalMart in Parkesburg and waiting for a store to open up a little closer to me for a transfer. Looking forward to retiring in about 4 years! Hurray!
I started the Southern-Belles Majorette Corps in 1966 and I still am Director and Instructor. Yes, I still twirl a baton! I can't do as much as I once could (age thing),but i\If you watch the local Fair parades, you will see me marching besides the group.
I still live in the Quarryville area.
I have 5 grandchildren ranging in age of 32 to 12. However, the 12 year old is truly...Expand for more
mine.
My husband Leo and I enjoy spending time together and relaxing at our place in Fenwick Island Delaware over the summer months and at a Potter County cabin in the winter.
I am Chairman of our Class reunion committee.
